Pottery classes for various ages, abilities and schedules. Small group classes with sessions designed for regulars, those who want to try it out and teens who are looking to express their creative side. Date night experiences are available about once per month or by request.
Only four students per class means that you get a class that is focussed on you, developing your skills and journey that is fun! Each class is 2 hours and includes all materials, firing and instruction.
Beginner session: 3 classes over 3-4 weeks that cover hand building, throwing on the wheel and glazing. Designed for those new to the art or those returning after a lengthy hiatus
Monthly rate: 4 classes per month for students who have completed the beginner session or are more seasoned potters. Focussed instruction on your goals and projects, with a weekly inspiration project suggested.
Date night: One class for hand building or wheel work, you decide! This class is all about learning the process, making a few pieces, choosing your glaze colors and coming back a few weeks later to pick up your creations. One or two couples can sign up for a maximum of four people.
Teen pottery session: Six pottery classes that are 1.5 hours in length and hosted after school. These sessions are run in the fall, winter and spring. Each class starts at 4:00 pm and runs until 5:30 pm. Students learn the fundamentals of hand building and throwing on the wheel, a bit about firing and have time to work on suggested projects or their own.
